Indutherm MC 16

Suitable for smaller production runs, the Indutherm MC 16 is a tabletop vacuum casting machine capable of reaching a maximum temperature of 2,000°C (3,632°F), allowing it to cast all standard alloys, including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and steel. After pouring, the MC 16 automatically switches to overpressure to optimize the mold filling even for delicate parts such as filigree. Designed to be easy to use, the unit includes an LCD display that features all of the program data. Measuring 40 cm wide by 45 cm deep by 40 cm high (15.7 inches by 17.7 inches by 15.7 inches), the MC 16 can cast a maximum of 100 grams of gold or silver and up to 200 grams of platinum. Electric Melting Furnace

Featuring solid steel construction, the Electric Melting Furnace can heat up to a maximum temperature of 2,012°F (1,120°C). The furnaces are available in three capacities: 0.5 kg, 1 kg, and 3 kg, as well as a special 3 kg model with a tilt feature. They come complete with a pyrometer and fuse, as well as a graphite crucible, crucible tongs, a graphite stirrer, instruction manual, and power cord. Contact: Paul H. Prestige Optima

Offering high temperature resistance, Prestige Optima is a gypsum-bonded investment that is suitable for use with standard injection waxes, carving waxes, resin patterns, wax-based polymers, and hybrid wax/plastic patterns. The investment is designed to reduce porosity and finishing time, while capturing delicate details and providing smooth casting surfaces. Prestige Oro

Specially formulated for casting yellow and white gold alloys up to 22k, Prestige Oro is a gypsum-bonded investment that incorporates specially graded refractory minerals and specialized control chemicals to eliminate surface defects from castings. Compatible with all types of injection waxes, the investment has a variable water-to-powder ratio and is engineered using proprietary technology for a more complete removal after casting. Prestige Unicast

Suitable for use in casting yellow and white gold alloys up to 18k as well as both fine and sterling silver, Prestige Unicast is a gypsum-bonded investment that features an E-Z quench formula, allowing the clean breakaway of investment during water quenching. Its variable water-to-powder ratio allows for a variety of mixing equipment and technologies to be used. Designed to be highly consistent from batch to batch, the investment is formulated to reduce surface tension on wax to provide smooth, bubble-free castings. KWS KG100 Auto Flask Unbedding and Cast Cleaning Machine

Developed to reduce the time needed to remove investment, the KWS KG100 Auto Flask Unbedding and Cast Cleaning Machine automatically removes casting trees from flasks before removing the investment from the casting. The entire process takes between 30 and 60 seconds, depending on the size of the tree. Requiring a water connection, the system can accommodate both flasks and casting trees measuring up to 280 mm (11 inches) in length. The intensity of the system's water jet is adjustable, preventing any deformation or damage to the casting. Weighing 456 lbs., the system measures 85 cm wide by 65 cm deep by 125 cm high (33.5 inches by 25.6 inches by 49.2 inches). KWS EB8 Investment Mixer

Designed to improve casting results, the KWS EB8 Investment Mixer can be used to mix up to 10 kg of investment powder under vacuum while simultaneously filling up to five flasks. Easy to operate with an efficient layout, the mixer offers a variable speed to make sure the correct rotational speed for the specific investment process can be selected at all times. Constructed in stainless steel and aluminum to protect against corrosion, it can accommodate flasks with a maximum height of 9 inches (230 mm) and a maximum diameter of 5.5 inches (140 mm).
