Hollowing Out A Wax Model For Lost Wax Casting
In this demonstration, a wax model is shown, and will be hollowed out from behind. A strong light is mounted on the bench top, and the hollowing work is done in front of this light source.
A rim demarcation is made with a set of dividers, and the hollowing is done within these lines with a rotary tool and small ball bur. The wax model wall thickness is burred out to 1 MM.
