Subject: Good resource for rough and turquoise
Comment: I've been dealing with T-Bird for over 30 years, since I used to live in Gallup. If you do inlay, and need to order either rough or finished turquoise by mail order, this is the reputable place to go. They have much more than what is offered in the catalogs. Only place I know of that still sells tufa for carving. If these are your requirements, call and ask to speak to the stone buyer or the turquoise buyer. Describe your needs, and they will tell you prices and quality, so you can make an informed choice. If ever there is a problem, contact Bob Siebersma.
