Subject: Old World Anvils
Comment: I bought a wonderful anvil from Dan at Old World Anvils. I had many questions before I purchased which were answered along with a guarantee of return if I didn't like the anvil. I bought a 66 pound Austrian anvil which has a great surface. Dan provided advice on finishing the horn and maintenance.

Comment: I bought a 30 kilo anvil from them a couple of years ago, and have been very pleased. It's not as beautifully finished as a Peddinhaus or other high-end anvil, but it is hardened correctly, works fine, and with a little sanding and polishing the top took a mirror finish. You can't find anything near as good for the price, in my opinion. Service was great.
