Drawing upon over 50 years of experience, Mr. Tamme instructs and demonstrates skills ranging from the basics of tool selection, preparation, maintenance and use... to advanced topics including lettering, monograms, relief carving, jewelry layout, glass engraving, fine printmaking, hand enhanced machine engraving, ring carving, signature facsimille creation, coats of arms, crests, ornamental relief engraving, seal embossing and more. Approximately 25 hours of detailed "over the shoulder" instruction.

Subject: video quality is awful
Comment: I bought volume 2 on relief carving from RIO and the video and sound quality was awful. My wife asked it was shot using a cell phone. It looks like it was shot with the very low quality and resolution video equipment from thirty years ago. There was an annoying background buzz and the video resolution was so low that the graver was only a blur. You could not see how it was ground, how chips formed, the angle, or other detail about how it was used. It might as well have been a dull stick instead of a graver. This is too bad because otherwise the teaching would be excellent.

Comment: Mr. Bloyd, just finished viewing disc one of Mr. Tamme master engraving series. I must say that they are A-1 quality and Mr. Tamme is not only a great engraver,but a great instructor. Curtis Stewart Georgia

Comment: My name is Timothy Clark, I have been engraving about 5 years as a hobby. I purchased 2 disks already to try out, I liked them so much I decided to purchase the whole set. Some time back I bought some tapes on engraving from someone on Ebay that were poor quality, because of this experiance, I purchased 2 disks from you (# 7 & # 8) to try out. I liked them so much I have been thinking of getting the entire set, even though I am not interested in some of the disks subjects like glass engraving. The disks are very well done and I think they all have something to learn on them.

Comment: i ordered the advanced ornamental jewelry engraving video. i really enjoyed it it was worth the $48.00 that i spent. i have been self training myself in hand engraving for about six years now and any information can help in my growing in this area. i am looking forward to ordering another one of the videos. i think i will be ordering the family crest video next.
