Subject: Much appreciated UK resource
Comment: I deal with Cooksons on a regular basis, albeit for small quantities of wire, findings and sometimes tools. There is no minimum order level for online orders, and discounts apply from low order levels on individual items. Of the dozens of orders I have placed, only two were not delivered within 2 working days (to my UK address) - one was lost by the Post Office, and a replacement was sent immediately and at no extra charge, and the other was delayed by the Post Office, but chased up for me by Cooksons themselves. Technical questions have been answered and advice given in a friendly and helpful manner. The website is easy to use, my only criticism being that there is sometimes an inconsitency in terminology (use of both '1/2 hard' and 'half hard' for example) which can be a nuisance when searching. I shall happily continue to use them as my first point of reference when I want 9ct gold or sterling silver wire, sheet or findings, and for other supplies and tools.
