Subject: Whether you choose to take his classes or work one on one, I highly recommend his guidance.
Comment: I recently had the good fortune to be able to spend 5 days with Bill Roberts in a one on one tutorial session exploring the possibilities of mixed metal sculptures including a wide variety of metal forming techniques. My previous experience was "general" blacksmithing and I was interested in taking it to another level. Bill took me there and beyond. His enthusiasm for the metal arts and his creativity exceed anything found on his modest web site. I found him to be quite amiable and he displayed a vast knowledge in all aspects of metal art. In the time I spent with him he provided me with visions of possibilities I had never imagined, he listened to all of my questions, he provided answers, he suggested web sites and most important to me--- he was a great guy to work with.
Whether you choose to take his classes or work one on one, I highly recommend his guidance. Thanks Bill

Subject: Bill Roberts definately "feels teaching."
Comment: Bill Roberts is a gifted teacher. After the class, I commented on my theory that All teachers fell into one of two catagories; the ones who "have it in their hearts" and the ones who are "just doing a job." Bill definately "feels teaching." He has all the qualities that make for a good teacher; patients, knowledge, skills, and desire. He let me find my own way thru each stage of the process, passing along hints, ideas, and techniques that helped me surpass my goals. Bill easily identified my skill levels and areas of deficiency, and provided the exact amount of help and direction required to make my visit a great success.

Subject: One-to-one hands-on class
Comment: It was my great pleasure to assist Bill Roberts metalsmithing class. I gained a great deal of understanding in his one-to-one hands-on class. Bill is a real master, who truly enjoys giving away all the knowledge that he has accumulated in his years of experience. He patiently conveys all the information in an orderly and logical progression, and teaches different angles to tackle a task. He is also a humble and warm person who makes you feel comfortable in the first five minutes with him.
