The Bush Jewellery workshop is equipped for a variety of alternative and standard processes, and the emphasis is on practical, simple tools use, and lateral-thinking ways. No set projects: choose from some of my regular modules like the famous 1hr silver ring for kids and other beginners (fabrication), set a favorite object in silver (setting), cast a carved or found shape in silver, bronze, or gold (alloying, casting), simple 3D shapes from sheet (fold forming), building eyeglass frames (face furniture), coloring titanium (anodizing) ... and a fair bit more.
The Jewelry and Small Objects Department (formally Gold and Silversmithing) Is located at South Bank Brisbane. It offers educational opportunities as part of the Undergraduate Degree program, Post Graduate Degree program as well as short courses as part of the Creative Art Class Program and Master Class program.
