Located in Toronto the college offers jewellery and gemmology education. While our jewellery programs are grounded in traditional goldsmithing and design skills, they also include CAD-CAM applications to jewellery making. The gemmology program prepares students for professional accreditation through the Canadian Gemmological Association or the Gemmological Association and Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain.
Kootenay School of the Arts at Selkirk College (KSA) is an accredited post secondary educational institution offering a 2-Year Diploma in Art, Craft and Design with a major in one of three studios: Clay, Fibre, or Jewellery and Small Object Design. We also offer a 1-Year Certificate in our Metal Studio.
