Solidscape manufactures and markets 3D printers (additive process, grower) that produce extremely high precision, master patterns for lost-wax casting (investment casting). The patterns (or molds) are directly castable and leave behind no damaging ash or residue. Designs are created in any of the popular CAD software programs available (see Business Partners --> Vendor Partners on the Solidscape web site for a list of the various CAD software companies with direct links to their sites) and easily sent to the Solidscape system for printing. After printing is complete, no time consuming benchwork is require before casting your creation.
