Jacksonville, OR. USA
I am a past member (circa 2007). I am dusting off my sterling and
gold jewelry casting “hat”…again. I was a heavy practitioner
(1961-66). It is a habit I’m not able to shake…not sure if I’m
bragging or complaining!
Thank you, Gordon Peery

I am an artist living in St Andrews, Scotland. I have a studio and
gallery where I produce landscapes and portrait commissions using
acrylics on canvas. I have works in private collections in the UK
and USA. I would be interested in learning from anyone who has
attempted larger (A3plus) scale enameling on copper or metal clay
using professional torches - can anyone advise on feasibility of
doing abstract work using media which is normally the domain of
jewelers?

I’m new to the jewellry world. I spent 17 years as a machinist and
found I had lost the joy of the craft. Around the same time I found
a “basket case” facetting machine. Now with a collection of
beautiful stones, I’ve found a new passion for metal working and
being creative for a change.

Fallbrook, CA. USA
I have been a home school mom for 17 years and have been creative
all my life. I draw and doodle a lot. I needed to find a creative
outlet to fill short times between school subjects. I found wire
wrapping. I have learned quickly and am now able to sell my work at
an Art Mart that I belong to.
I am now teaching myself how to solder sterling silver and copper,
with some good results so far. I am always looking to expand my base
of jewelry design and learn new techniques.
