[Jewelry making - Article 01027] - [Orchid] Kiln annealing of gold

    Need information on the temperature (F.) for electric kiln annealing
    gold 18K  or above, how long should the temperature be held before
    removing from kiln for quenching? I am trying to anneal wire (flat 94
    x 28 g. four feet long)  rolled into a coil and bound with copper
    wire. I ordered dead soft but received metal somewhat like a watch
    spring in hardness.
