Hello to the other members of the list from the Ottawa Valley, Canada. I'm
a long-time woodturner who's got involved with stones. For a couple of
years now I've been making marble and granite vases and candleholders, and
now I've gotten interested in minerals and want to do some smaller things.
So I'm starting to make rosaries with mineral beads, and gearing up to do
some lapidary and silver work. I'll be at the Bancroft Gemboree in
Bancroft Ontario on the August 1st long weekend, if any one gets there,
make a point to say hello.
