To iamdoublea,
It takes me one day working (5-6
hours) . When you have all the informations about the
materials you're working with, everything is more easy
that it seems to be. My fingers are lost their feeling
, it's normal , after so many polishing and engraving
...every jeweller has this problem .

amazing work---if you were to do 1 piece w/out breaks,
how long do you think it takes you? just curious cuz
you make everything seem easier than it is. do you
have any problems w/your hands /wrists? like loss of
feeling? tingles?

Dear Skillman,

I didn't know there were
instruction videos on this site until they updated the
site. I want to thank you so much for offering
instructions to making such a beautiful ring. I live in
Mexico now, and there are few lessons here, so it is
very much appreciated.

Hi Skillman,
Thanks so much for all of your videos
- they are all informative and the results are all so
beautiful. Could I ask you to do one on setting other
stones. I mostly use silver as I cannot afford gold,
but do by some to make rub-over settings as this often
sets a gem beautifully. I am self taught and have
learned a lot in the last 5 years. I don't like using
the clay as this is costly and I like a challenge that
clay does not give me.

I know you are
busy, but if you had a video that could break down a
variety of settings, I know I would not be the only one
watching.

Your work keeps me going. />
many thanks again.

To ozzyinny,
Sorry for the delay , some problems
occur..Yes I bend the tubes without filling them with
anything (it will be hard , the diametter is between
1,5 and 2 mm). When the tube wall (sheet thickness) has
.30 - .35mm, you can bend them as you'll like..The main
condition : solder the tubes closure first !!! :o)

Hi,
This ring is absolutely gorgeous, and I have a
question about the tube bending. Did you bend the
hollow tubing just by hand with no support inside the
tube??
Gorgeous, masterful work!
Thanks for
showing us :)
