My friend , the rules makes a profession works better
..And If you feel any poisson in my words , i will
promise that I will make no comment in the future on
your videos...This website is not a race or a
competition , but a place whwre people change ideas and
advices . It seems you did not understand that untill
now . i am working myself improvising tools but I
respect the rules in my trade ... excuse me if my words
hurt your feelings somehow...
I must make few comments: 1) NEVER use an iron or
even a stainless teel with acid (sulphuric or other) .
The risk of contamination is high , and all the object
, especially silver , will be "coated " with a pink to
red iron oxid , and this is not good. 2) on this
website , there is a smart video posted by hanuman who
shows how perfect filigran can be made . The video is
on page 4 and its title is "How to make silver
granules" . I like it and i learned from it .
Personally , I am using a piece of wood , 2 X 1 inches
, I burned its surface to the charcoal stage and then i
extinguished with water. Then I make all the operations
you have done to get silver tinny balls on that piece
of charcoal., without using any flux , which has the
tendence to keep the base of the small sphere flat on
the pad . That's the only comments I have to make for
this video . Keep going , you are very skilled , but
remember that there are some rules in the jewelry trade
that must be respected , otherwise we talk about
everything, but not jewelry trade . I hope you will not
consider my comment an ofence. If you will , hanuman
will be free to erase my comment right away .
