Orchid Presents: Sue Lindsey Email the Artist

I have been working in wire for almost two years. I learned the basics of wire wrapping from Linda Abbot's book, 'Hot and Wired,' and have been happily experimenting and pushing the boundaries of what I know ever since.

What I look for as I am wrapping a stone is a conversation between the stone and the wire. My dream is that, when I am finished with a piece, both the stone and the wire make a statement, and each stands out without obscuring the other. When I accomplish this, it seems that art has been created.
