Wow. Just found this list and I am really excited about it.

I have a long-standing interest in jewelery of all sorts. I took
a lapidary course some years ago, and enjoyed it immensely. (I
also have a modest collection of bridge jewelery from the 50's.)

Earlier this year, I commissioned a brooch based on a drawing I
did, and I am really pleased with the results. But, I want to
learn to do it myself! To get in there and realize them myself.

I purchased stones and equipment and stuff (including some
unlabeled stuff I don't recognize!) from a friend's father you
used to cut and polish stones, along with a stack of "Rock & Gem"
from the 70's. I'm reading like mad and looking for courses in
    the Toronto area.

I am but a thirsty knowledge sponge! (Sorry, but I'm really
    excited about finding this list.)

Anyway, the drawings that I have been doing that I want to take
from pixels to particles are at: http://www.dragoncrafted.com/ if
anyone is interested. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Dwyn
