[4Sale] Retail jewelry business

Was: The recession and us

After an amazing run of 24 years,
I have to close the doors for personal reasons.

If anyone is interested, or knows anyone who is,

I have a retail jewelry business I have had for 24 years. I am
scaling back, I do not want to do retail any longer. I am looking
for someone who wants a retail space to run their own jewelry store.

The space is 1700 sq. ft. Prime location, a very special
neighborhood, a lot of independent business owners in a historic
area.

My current hours are 11am-6pm Tues.-Sat. On Sunday starting in May
there is a Farmers Market every Sunday thru Oct. There are also 2
music events during the summer.

I have all the display cases and a POS system and the customer base.
All you need is inventory to run your business in an established
retail space. I have done excellent repair and custom in addition to
having inventory forsale. I have a loyal repeat customer base from
the neighborhood. I am the only jewelry store in the neighborhood and
it would be nice to keep it a jewelry/craft/art store."

Hi Richard,

We have never met and yet I live in Fort Collins.

If I were 30 years younger I would consider your offer, but I am
actually a retired auto Technician. I had to retire for health
reasons, but I got better. I love all things in metal working and
lapidary to keep me busy. I hope you enjoy your free time. Believe
me, you will be as busy as before, but your priorities will change.
Enjoy your next stage in life.

Richard,

I have been looking for a situation where someone is retiring and
has a good customer base in good neighborhood. I have worked the
bench since 1988, do custom and repairs. Call me sometime on a sunday
so we can talk.
