anyone have an extra pair they want to sell? thought i'd ask here before i 'went to the store'.
Being as cheap as normal I was not about to spend more on tongs than
the homemade bench cost.
Decent quality slip joint pliers and a 2" steel ring from the local
hardware store. Ring goes over the handles and clamps them. Pull on
the ring. Less than $10, no tempting trips to the ‘store’ and it
works better than any real tongs I have used.
