They’re among the best on all counts! maja

Maja,

I have known the owners (4 women) of Taboo Studio for probably 20
years or more, and have done custom work, repairs, and casting for
them during that time. Their gallery represents a number of
nationally known art jewelers and they have an outstanding collection
of work. Taboo Gallery is now located in the upscale neighborhood of
Mission Hills, San Diego. Years ago, I used to exhibit my work at
Taboo as well, but I became too busy with other enterprises to do
that anymore.

If there are nicer, more honest, easier to get along-with people
than the ladies at Taboo, then I don’t know who that would be. When I
run errands to drop off or pick up work there, I always look forward
to having a long chat with Jane Groover, former jewelry instructor
at Grossmont College here in San Diego. I always send my students to
Taboo to see what high quality art jewelry looks like.

If you’ve been offered a chance to show your work at Taboo, then I
would consider that high praise for the work you do.

Sorry to respond to this so late. I participated in a show at Taboo a
couple years ago, they are very professional, and a nice group of
people to work with. I highly recommend them.
