I would think that any Photograph might be considered
"misrepresentation" considering it is not possible to accurately
reproduce a piece comparable to the visible/perceived machinations
of the brain/ocular systems of the differing observers.

A photo is not capable of matching the varied visual abilities of
    the range of individual viewers.

A photo is not a true representation of a subject.

We once bought things based on black and white drawings. It was fine
    for the time.

Digitally enhanced photography is inevitable, Leonid. Since
photography is inaccurate anyway, enhancing the color to best suit
the viewer's perception of the color is not any more of a
misrepresentation than taking the photo to begin with.

Also, not only do I see the color differently than you (more or less
receptors), but my computer monitor is different to. Hence an
accurate representation is not very likely, even if all of our
    monitors were chroma keyed.
