when trying to figure out how to do a columnar setting of round
brilliants using the most minimal amount of metal possible yet having
the tensegrity necessary for the weight of the number of stones I
want to use not making minimally work hardened metal not crumble from
the weight in CAD (using NURBS 4.0/RhinoGold) I sought the assistance
of my cousin who sent me this video to illustrate one approach..I
found it interesting at least, and thought and design provoking in
the end..I hope you will enjoy the intrinsic artistry as well.
