Most Fabric stores carry a treated flannel called "Silver Cloth"
which is used to store silver in. I have my storage boxes lined with
    it. Rose Marie Christison

I bought mine at JoAnns Fabric. They call it silver cloth. Some
stores and online sources sell it as Pacific Cloth which I think is a
brand name. It's used to line silverware storage boxes. They only had
forest green which wasn't so bad of a color. I can't remember how
much it was but it wasn't much, a few dollars a yard.

I cut it into rectangles the size of a standard jewelry trade and
put if over the jewelry. I have since been putting 1/2 inch foam
padding on top of the jewelry to keep them in place when I roll or
carry them around in the cases. The silver cloth sticks to the foam
padding somewhat. I'm thinking of putting a little rubber cement to
keep the foam and silver cloth together as one unit. That is when I
    have time...

JoAnn Fabric has it by the yard, in the upholstery department.

Ask at your local Joannas or Hancock's. The last time I bought it,
it was around $10-$12 a yard.

Folks on Orchid have previously stated that you can buy this at
fabric stores, such as Joann fabrics and it's called Pacific Cloth,
except when it's called Atlantic Cloth.

Hi Amery, I got mine at JoAnne fabrics. It was called Pacific
silvercloth. They use it to line silver chests with. If you can't
fine some let me know. I have a yard or so and I probably don't need
    it all.

I've gotten "silver cloth" for storing flatware at a couple
different fabric stores. It seems to work pretty well.

JoAnn Fabrics sell Kenized SilverShield cloth by the yard - brown or
green. It is made by Fifield in Hingham MA - www.fifieldfabrics.com -
they sent me their brochure. Good luck, jeanette
