    I'm for extending discounts, as a thank you to our military, for
    protecting our collective freedoms, given to us by our founding
    fathers in the form of the Constitution. 

    Protecting our liberty and the pursuit of happiness generally do not
    come under the job description of doctors, nurses, firemen, EMT's.
    Police officers, maybe. 

    I am grateful each and every day that I can do what I want, when I
    want (w/in the law) because of a few great men/women w/ foresight and
    courage. And many who have fought and died for freedom. 

    Gratitude has nothing to do with logic. It's an emotion.
