    This thread has been interesting, there is much to be learned on
    both sides of the isle. Obviously, some people feel comfortable
    bargaining, haggling or whatever you want to call it, and it works
    well for them. Others would rather stay away from it for various
    reasons. I respect all opinions. However, calling someone's position
    silly, or moral caca is a bit strong. What is wrong with supporting
    fellow artisans? Like I said, we're all trying to make a living,
    feed our families, and survive a poor economy. So, if I pay too much,
    so be it. Yes, I'm a smart enough business person to figure out how
    to price my jewelry, so that I make a profit. My sales are up this
    year, and at the end of the day I feel good about myself, my
    customers have a positive experience, and I'm having a great time. If
    this is the price I pay for being conscious and respectful, call me
    ignorant, I'll take it any day.
