    I occasionally get "hagglers". I will generally give a 10% discount
    for purchases over $300, but never for custom work. 

    A friend of mine, who often vends at the same events as I do, but
    does not sell jewelry, gets hagglers all the time. At a recent event
    he was approached by a young lady who batted her eyes at him and
    said that she really wanted to get a good deal on the socks that he
    was selling. He stated that they were $5 a pair. She said, "If I get
    a whole bunch of my friends to come in and buy some will you give me
    a special deal?" (All the while batting her eyes.) He said "Sure,
    I'll sell them to you for 6 for $30." And yes, she got a whole bunch
    of her friends together and they each bought 6 pairs of socks for
    $30. He sold 60 pairs of socks in one hour - at $5 per pair. So much
    for math education in the US.
