[Jewelry making - Article 01288] - [Orchid] [Workshop] Possible lost-wax casting course

    Last year several folks on this list expressed an interest in taking
    a lost-wax casting workshop at Wildacres Retreat in Little
    Switzerland, North Carolina. Eventually, everyone canceled because
    the available date was too late in the year. Most folks are
    interested in a date during the conventional summer vacation months. 

    I have been notified by Wildacres that as many as 7 rooms are
    available during the first week of July. The rooms are double
    occupancy so up to 14 students could be accommodated. 

    This will be a hands-on workshop with all materials and tools being
    supplied. The cost will be $310 for room (double occupancy), board,
    and instruction with an additional $50 lab fee that will include
    supplies, an ounce of sterling casting grain, and a copy of the
    textbook "Lost-Wax Casting: Old, New, and Inexpensive Methods." 

    Anyone interested in this workshop should contact me off-list for
    all the details.
