    Oh Boy! Imagine my embarrassment. When I first read this I thought
    in how much time it would take. 

    The correct answer is most women's wrists are between 4 to 6 inches
    with about 20% in the less than 4 inch and greater than 6 inch. So
    measure your wife's wrist and divide that by the number of pieces
    that make up the watch band.
