The world is divided into two groups. If I say Orson Welles or Paul
Muni... Group one will say: They were great. They were the best.
We'll never see the likes of them again. Group two will say: Hunh?
Group two will have no idea who the owner was of this golden brooch
of a poodle--made by one Paul Flato-- jeweler to the stars. Group
    one... you got a shot.

Our owner began her acting career at age 5 and ended it at age 85.
She was the only one of two women to receive all four of the most
honored entertainment awards: A Tony... an Oscar... an Emmy... and a
    Granny.

Her mother was an aspiring actress who went on the road a great deal
in order to pursue her dreams and who so hated returning home to her
mundane life that she ultimately turned to drink.

HAH's owner's first role as an actress was at the Holy Cross Academy
where she took on the part of Peaseblossom in the school's
production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

She never looked back. Later, at the age of eight, she was signed up
to be in the production of "Old Dutch" on Broadway inspiring one
critic to say something to the effect that she was the greatest
leading lady of all time for her size.

When she was seventeen--though still playing a young girl role--she
had the lead role in Pollyanna... a role which won her great respect
among her admirers. She was so good--it is said--that her poignancy
brought tears to the rough riding ranchers in Montana. Let me tell
you something... making a grown Montana man cry ain't no easy feat.

Over her life span she played opposite many of Hollywood's greatest
leading actors and actresses. Re: Clark Gable, John Barrymore, Ramon
Navarro, Ingrid Bergman, and more. She retired from the stage in
    1971. She died in 1993.

As for that poodle named HAH... well... it was an initialized poodle
of her name... for if you have not yet guessed who she was... you
will have to wait till next week. If you think you know... email
me... and I'll let you know if you really know.

For those of you who are new to this thing called Tidbits...may I
direct you to my home page at www.tyler-adam.com where you will
scroll down the left side menu till you get to the area that says
Current Tidbits... and then click on it in order to view a dog who
might have been named HAH made by Paul Flato.

And there ya have it.
That's it for this week folks.
Catch you all next week.
