========[ Invite a Friend - http://www.ganoksin.com/invite.htm ]======== I have a few pieces of jewelry made with irregular stones as you describe. Some are Afghan and one is American Indian. The stones are set in bezels, more or less. Trick seems to be that the bezels are done in fairly thin metal -- even serrated in a couple of cases -- to make pushing it around the irregular stone more easily accomplished. The bezels aren't really clean and neat and this setting technique probably wouldn't work too well on a ring but should be okay for a pendant.
