I am embarrassed that I didn't proofread this post before sending
it. Some of it is next to incoherent. Here it is in a form that makes
    sense:

I would like to ask those of you who offer sterling omega chains
with your jewelry if you have had the same problems I have. I have
been frustrated with the surface quality of the chains I have gotten
in the past. There have been areas of uneven coloration and because
they are electroplated with a layer of fine silver, they cannot be
polished to remedy that. I was frustrated with winding up with chains
that I could not offer for sale because they looked bad so I decided
to change sources. I ordered from a different company on the
recommendation of a fellow Orchidian. The order I just received
contains chains that have a surface that, though it is supposed to be
high shine, looks semi-mat under slight magnification. The surfaces
appear to have friction-type abrasions on them. One of the chains has
spots that are definitely lighter than the rest of the surface--even
visible to the naked eye. I don't know whether this is as good as it
gets or whether I should send these back and ask for a refund. I am
not thrilled with the way they look but don't know where to find a
source for a better quality at a reasonable price. Shipping gets
expensive when you have to return the order again and again.
