    There are quite a number of them. The benefit is usually free room
    and board and a token amount of pay, called a monthly stipend. 

    They can be 1 month, 2 months, 6 or 9 months. 

    There are really so many I can't list them all. 

    There are some that are specifically for metalsmiths, and others
    that are for "artists" that you could apply for if you could bring
    your tools and do work that is artsy.
