    Gerry, I suspect that you need to add some sodium bisulphate (=Ph
    Down, or Sparex) to the peroxide, before soaking your melted slver
    scrap, in order to remove its copper color. When tiny, tiny bubbles
    start to come up, off the surface of the metal, you have got the
    right amount of both chemicals.
