    We have no idea how much it actually costs the show promoters to
    have all the applications juried and processed

    It's gotta be hard for the show organizers to sift through
    everything considering the fact that many people drop out, even up
    until the night before the show....I would be afraid that my
    reputation as a professional would suffer if I signed on for too many
    shows and then dropped out, isn't that a concern?
