    Try nickel black, and if your in a pinch you could also try using a
    torch to turn the piece black and then tumbling it to get the raised
    surface polished leaving the lower areas dark in ceramic media.
    Nickel is used extensively out here and is used to make a lot of
    findings also. I know we use ton's of it,literally.
