Brian, I will try to answer the questions you posted and if you need
me directly I can be contacted as follows hdcasting AT yahoo.com Videos
on the process can be seen at www.freemanwax.com and there is a pdf
file of a brochure with casting details

> How long does the HD material last before I need to buy a refill?

The bottle that comes in the kit will produce 48 troy ounces of 14K
castings or 80 troy ounces of Platinum castings.

A larger quantity refill bottle will be available soon and is about
25% less for the HD material when bought in this bulk bottle. The
larger bottle is 3.4 times the amount of HD of the kit bottle. This
larger bottle is a drop in cartridge for the new HD injection/curing
machine but can also be used to refill the kit bottle.

In the US, Stuller also carries the HD Kit and refill components.

Casting House located in Chicago and San Francisco was my original
beta tester for HD and I believe has posted some detailed photos on
    their site. www. castinghouse.com

I will be at the Atlanta Show next week and will be doing a demo of
HD process at the Stuller booth. The video at the Freeman site is a
good introduction if you are unable to see a demo first hand.
