    I posted on my site a SEM photo of sintered metal clay taken by Tina
    Carvalho:

    I wanted to share this photo because I think some people might
    imagine they would see tiny balls rather than an actual crystalline
    structure. Hope you enjoy the picture. 

    If memory serves it is Art Clay Silver, probably reworked several
    times (decreases density), and fired on a Speed Fire Cone system
    (essentially a modified gas stove).
