    But it appears from reading the posts of the experts that each brand
    has different characteristics such as shrinkage rates, available
    forms etc. Presumable these differences also impact to some extent
    upon the finished item - finished density, wear resistance, stain
    resistance etc. and so the brand may well have some bearing upon the
    desireability of any piece. Maybe in the future the various brands
    will achieve similar properties if they don't just all disappear -
    as 24K gold clay apparently has already.....
