    I had a similar problem recently, with resin inlay all around a
    ring. The resin would fall to one side of the ring so I found a slow
    running motor, 50 RPM, and put some plastic tube on the shaft to hold
    the ring and left it running overnight, worked a treat! In the UK
    there is a firm called Tiranti's that sell a good epoxy resin from
    Germany, sets very hard, and can be coloured it's called Epoxy
    Glosscoat from Vosschemie. You get a kilo for about 30 and mine
    seems to be lasting well after a couple of years.
