========[ Invite a Friend - http://www.ganoksin.com/invite.htm ]======== I had contracted to teach two classes at Lassen College in northern California. Both were canceled at extremely short notice, even though they California. Both were canceled at extremely short notice, even though theywere filled. A few of those Lassen students who have been in direct contact with me (I was never given a complete list) have decided to take me up on my offer to teach the same Basic Hand Engraving class right here at my studios. I am doing this for half my normal private class fee - for several reasons. I feel that the students were treated badly - with only two weeks or less notice. Students will have higher expenses for lodging here in Stockton than they would have had staying in the college dorms. Both the students and myself had already reserved this time slot so we might as well get some use out of it. Hopefully this way, a few will still be able to make good use of their vacation time... This class was to have run for the two week time period starting July 9th and ending July 20th. I will teach the exact same material that was to be covered at Lassen 80" but concentrated into a one week long workshop. I have space for up to 12 students, and this one-time only offer is open to those students who were signed up for Lassen (they get first preference) as well as any Orchidians I can fit in at the last moment. Cost will be $375, This will include printed notes, design transfers, practice plates, and 4 graver blanks. Optional projects, knives, sterling keychains, moneyclips, etc. will be available for those who wish to purchase them. I realize this is very short notice, the reason is explained above but it could be a very economical opportunity for the several hundred Orchidians who live in California or one of the neighboring states Please call or email immediately if you are interested in reserving a space, we start at 8:00 am next Monday July 16th and end on Friday July 20th. 8 to 10 hours per day. Write YOUR contracts to include a clause protecting you from short-notice cancellations. In the future, I will be paid in full if the class is canceled less than 30 days from the starting date. If colleges or institutions don't want to sign, I don't want to schedule the time, prepare for the class, and package all of my equipment to go. I get to unpack it all tonight. ____________________________________________________________________ T h e O r c h i d L i s t Open Electronic Forum for Jewelry Manufacturing Methods and Procedures ____________________________________________________________________ Orchid FAQ: ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/orchid/faq.htm Orchid Archives: ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/orchid/archive Orchid Galleries: ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/orchid/gallery.htm Invite a Friend: ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/invite.htm ____________________________________________________________________ Tips From The Jeweler's Bench - Article Archive ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/borisat/tip_sear.htm The Jeweler's Selected Bibliography List ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/jewelry-books Buy Orchid Jewelry: ~ http://www.ganoksin.com/shop ____________________________________________________________________ -Unsubscribe: -Email: orchid-request AT ganoksin.com Body=unsubscribe subject=blank ____________________________________________________________________ |
