    I'm sure someone on this forum knows the answer to this question,
    although I did not: What kind of education does one need to be an
    appraiser for antique jewelry? I know that the auction houses such as
    Christies and Sotheby's employ such specialists, I just don't know
    what they have to do to qualify for such a position.
