[Jewelry making - Article 00736] - [Orchid] Starting avant-garde jewelry design studio

    After doing everything jewelry from wholesaling, retail, sourcing
    and much more, I have decided to go the way a fledgling jewelry
    designer, and I wanted to hopefully find someone familiar with
    starting a small avant-garde jewelry design studio. Not that I will
    not be a jeweler proper, but rather a designer selling to boutiques
    that are fashion orientated. The pieces will primarily consist of
    wire and I'm not seeking to do smithing right away. 

    If anyone would be willing to give me some tips or assistance it
    would be greatly appreciated. 

    I have some experience with this in the past, but would like to hear
    other's tips on approaching boutiques, building "buzz," etc.
