    The other day I was rhodium plating some stuff, and I spilled some
    electro cleaning solution onto my workbench. After I wiped it off a
    little later I found that it had cleaned a small section absolutely
    perfectly. Hmmm,. So I mixed up some more and painted it onto the
    workbench. 10 minutes later I wiped it off and I had a perfectly snow
    white work top again. This bench was not cleanable with
    turps,thinners or acetone. I use it to prop my oil paintings up while
    I paint so over the years it had got really grotty. This stuff worked
    very well.
