        jumper for small package delivery UPS
        newspaper delivery
        check-in person for fur storage
        packer for small manufacture
        pin setter in bowling alley
        pipe fitter
        A & E mechanic
        mail delivery USPS
        loan collection person
        very short stint as actor in Paris
        brewery production worker
        GED English teacher for the 'educationally disadvantaged'
        parking lot attendant
        copy editor
        high school teacher
        business researcher for Ernst & Ernst
        taught inner city youth how to improve their test scores
        cmm'l photgrapher
        lab tech mechanical testing
        State Hwy Patrol (Ohio) driving examiner
        driving instructor
        college English teacher (ABD) English Literature
        cab driver
        jewelry & lapidary repair person
        29 yrs as self employed lapidary/goldsmith

    While I've had many jobs (I started working at eight ) I was mainly
    involved in a formal liberal education and was finishing a PhD in
    English Literature when I started my jewelry career. 

    All the things one takes in makes us who we are as a person and
    effects our work. The technical things with persistance can be
    learned.
