Reminder:

    The Big Apple Orchid Dinner is two weeks away, Monday evening, March
    19th. This date coincides with the MJSA show at the Javits Center. It
    will once again be held at the Fashion Institute of Technology,
    thanks to Michael Coan of FIT. This year, thanks to the generosity of
    Spirig Advanced Technologies and Gary Miller, we have an incredible
    door prize, the Grand Prize; the Spirflame Karat 250, a very elegant,
    sophisticated hydrogen/oxygen generator torch system. This unit is
    valued at $3,950 and will be given away to one lucky attendee. Gary
    Miller will have the unit with him and demonstrate it. Spirig
    Advanced Technologies will cover the related delivery and training
    costs (limited to the USA). 

    In addition, thanks to Mike Zagielski of Foredom Industries, we have
    a $100 gift certificate good towards any Foredom products. This will
    be given to another attendee. 

    The cost of the dinner is $40 per person, including wine, beer, soft
    drinks, etc. FIT is conveniently located at 27th Street and 7th
    Ave., not too far from the Javits Center. 

    The time is getting close and the response to these announcements has
    been limited. It would be a shame to have to cancel the event because
    of lack of interest.
