Hi All;

    This has been my primary source of income for at least 30 years.
    Aside from some part time teaching at a couple community colleges
    and one university, it's all I've done. My first real full time job
    was as a blacksmith, working in an historical village making
    reproductions of early American ironwork. Did that for 3 years. Got
    my first jewelry job after my first college degree in metalsmithing
    in 1976, working in a trade shop, making minimum wage. Bounced
    around various retail stores, left when they ran their businesses
    into the ground for drugs, divorce, and various forms of stupidity.
    Took a break for a couple years to get a masters in metalsmithing,
    couldn't locate a teaching position so went back to the bench to pay
    the bills. Now I work for myself and have a couple employees too.
