[Jewelry making - Article 00379] - [Orchid] Getting into wholesale shows

Hi

    For those who buy/sell, I have a question. 

    Hypothetically, if there was an item you could buy at a 15% discount
    and display in a place in your store that normally wouldn't be used
    for display (right against the pane of the window), would you buy
    this item if you knew it was going to be a draw? 

    The retail mark up is not great, but the display space is not used
    normally and the items are a good gift (45 retail) 

    Also, how does a person get into a wholesale show if they are in the
    business plan stage? How can I figure out what kinds of items I
    would like to carry if I don't have access to a show? 

    Just curious, uh yeah, curious
