    Ah yes, those poor creatures from the nether worlds get blamed for
    everything! When I was a poor student in NYC we used to go "dumpster
    shopping" on 47th Street the night before garbage pickup. Found all
    we needed to equip our office/studio. One day we found a steam
    cleaner...my partner took it apart to clean it and replace a gasket
    and inside found a marquise very fine diamond over a carat! I am sure
    those poor trolls are still being blamed for stealing what jumped
    inside the machine(somehow). 

    In my old coop studio when someone dropped something they would call
    one of the others over to look for it as it was a given that the one
    who lost it would not find it!
