[Jewelry making - Article 00414] - [Orchid] Silver bezel on depletion silvered pieces

    I have begun routinely depletion silvering my cloisonne' pieces. I
    use a brass brush to burnish between heatings. I wonder what some of
    you have done on bezels? I have wound up brushing them too. Are some
    of you leaving them unbrushed and highly polished? 

    While I'm on that subject, I use fine silver bezels but I am always
    amazed to see oxidation on them at least as early as the oxidation
    appears on the body of pieces I have not used the depletion process
    on. I'm not sure why that happens?
