Hi All,

        From my experience, I've placed the copper on a tripod and
        heated from the bottom. I don't usually fire on both sides, but
        if you did, I would think that using the darker (blue, black,
        etc) color first on one side, and then firing the reds/oranges on
        the other would work. I've had great success firing this way on
        sterling, too.
